應用數學系 Department of Applied Mathematics

Theory and practice are both emphasized, with the goal of cultivating "interdisciplinary talents with mathematical foundations". Currently, three study groups are planned; (1) Applied Mathematics (2) Statistical Science (Big Data) (3) Computer Science (AI).

The core courses are Calculus、 Advanced Calculus(I) 、Linear Algebra、 Probability and Statistics.

1. Applied Mathematics courses includes Advanced Calculus(II)、Numerical Analysis、Discrete Mathematics、Differential Equations、Algebra、Complex Analysis、Vector Analysis、Geometry and Graph Theory.
2. Statistical Science courses includes Sampling Research、Regression Analysis、Data Mining、Multivariate Analysis、SPSS 、Applications of R-software and Time Series Analysis.
3. Computer Science courses includes Internet of Things、Python Programming、Operating Systems、Database Practice、Scientific Computing Software Package、Information Security and Cryptography.
